Establishment of an Edu class in Lozorno

Our organisation is financially helping with the establishment of an Edu class in Lozorno – transforming an ill-conditioned space near a local school into a classroom with lighting and washroom. In the morning, this classroom will be used for the education of children with learning disabilities that require individual approach and in the afternoon for tutoring the children from Roma and underprivileged families.

Students from the C.S. Lewis Bilingual High School also joined Mission Life as volunteers.

This is a project of a huge importance. It is dedicated to all those who need help with tutoring or finding a solution to a certain problem. They can get advice or guidance to help find a solution.

Edu classes or Eduboxes like this are already operating in Kremnica and near C.S. Lewis Bilingual High school in Bratislava.

“I go to the Edu class because of the children. It makes me happy to help them and to see that they are able to broaden their knowledge thanks to this. These kids have great potential and all they need is a little help. The two years of going to Edubox have taught me a lot. I learned to work with children on a completely different level and it gave me a whole new perspective on life. “I go to Lozorno to teach the kids to dance. I love to dance, because it gives me so much energy! Whenever I dance, I forget all my sorrows. I enjoy doing this, because I want to teach the children something new and I love to see them happy. And believe me when I say that I am especially excited for Wednesdays because of these dance classes. When our energies come together, they double up, which creates so much happiness.” Zahra
