International race

Mission Life financially supported Lucia in making ones of her dreams come true by enabling Lucia and her horse Shereen to attend an international endurance race in Italy.

We are pleased that they successfully conquered the 160-kilometre track and finished on an exceptional 27th place.

With our belief that an active lifestyle is an important part of a life in harmony. The support of sports activities is one of our most important and closest areas.

A short story of Lucia in her own words:
“I practically grew up around horses. When I was 14, my best friend Dominika introduced me to Endurance racing and to this day we are still in it together. Despite the financial and time demanding training, we have been able to achieve wonderful results and compete with international competition. Of course, we would like to push ourselves and try to do better than before. What I love the most about this sport though, is the long time spent with your horse.

When racing in a 160-kilometre long race it’s essential to know your horse and to understand him. Then when you finish the race, your horse is alright, and you achieved a good result, there isn’t a more satisfying feeling. In the upcoming season, I would like to finish the qualification for the European senior championship, I hope that together with Shereen we will be able to achieve it.”

A cheerful message from Lucia after the race:
“We did it! Together with Shereen, we managed to finish 27th out of the 189 competitors. Shereen performed perfectly, she even competed against horses that were prepared for the European junior championships, which took place the day before our race. We are extremely excited, I would once more want to thank you. Your support has helped us greatly.”
